We welcome back in the coming week our faculty and staf for our St. Vincent Parish Day School. They are having several in-service days in preparation for the students coming back to school on August 27. I have already talked to several of the families, Catholic and from other faith traditions, who are very appreciative of our school as a wonderful environment in which children are well-educated, deeply cared about, and given a frm foundation, centered in Jesus Christ, the source of our meaningful, purposeful, unselfish, and fulfilling life.
We have a caring and effective principal, Diane Salamon, and a committed and faith-filled faculty and staff who have already made a positive diference in many students’ lives. My hope is that parents, grandparents, family members, and our entire parish community will be supportive of these families who want to have the best learning environment and Christian education for their children.
Having a parish with the school is a very significant aspect of what it means to be a Catholic Christian community touching the lives of all people of every age. Please keep the students, their families, and the parish school faculty and staf in your prayer.
